One line, one leader, everyone in time
A conga line is the simplest group dance there is: one person leads, everyone else holds the waist of the person in front, and the line bends through the room in time. On camera that shape tells the story by itself. The eye follows the leader, then the line, then the room opening up ahead of them.
Turning a group photo into this shape takes planning. Each reference becomes one dancer, and the prompt decides who stands where. Up to 12 references are allowed, but a line of four or five reads far more clearly than a crowd, and leaves room for the camera.

Keep the line readable
A line only works when every dancer is visible. Keep it simple:
- Hands on waists, not on phones: a hand raised to the face hides the person behind.
- Match the framing: similar distance and height make the line look like one unit.
- Leave room between dancers so the camera can follow the whole line.
- One direction of travel per clip: a line turning back on itself confuses the motion.
- Check each face in Medium before you commit to the long cut.
Mixing a sharp studio shot with a blurry phone snap makes dancers look like different clips.

Does every dancer need their own photo?
Yes. Each reference is one person, and the prompt refers to them by number, so every dancer in the line needs a photo of their own.
Can the line dance to a specific song?
Describe the sound instead: drums, a crowd, laughter. Clips come with native ambient audio, and the words set the mood.
Why does someone in the middle look different?
Usually the photo quality or framing differs. Use similar distance and light for each dancer.
