The eyes are still the point

Sunglasses are a tease because they hide something. In a night clip they do three jobs at once: they add a cool, unreadable mood, they give the light a surface to reflect, and they create a moment when the wearer decides to show the eyes. A good prompt uses all three.

The trap is making the lenses so dark that nothing is left. The gaze carries the scene, so choose a tint that lets the eyes show, or lower the frames during the clip. A lowered frame and a slow look do more than a black lens.

Night gives the frames their color. Neon signs, shop windows and passing headlights all reflect in the glass, and each reflection is a small light show. Name one or two colors at most, and the lenses will carry them without the frame becoming noisy.

Frames too big for the face: oversized shapes swallow a small face. Match the frames to the reference photo.
Hands over the face: a hand covering the glasses blocks the reveal. Keep the hand at the frame edge or below the chin.
Rushed removal: a fast pull of the frames looks clumsy. Ask for a slow lowering, then a pause.
