Flash is brutal on a small screen. Avoid these:
- A burst held at full strength for too long: name a short flash, not a strobe.
- Shiny foreheads and noses blown out: ask for a softer burst from the side.
- A red-eye look from a frontal flash: keep the flash off the lens axis.
- Sequins that flare into white blocks: a bright flash on a shiny dress needs a dark background.
- Several camera clicks in one clip: one click is plenty.

Will the flash wash out my skin?
It can on very pale skin. Choose a reference with visible shadows, and ask for the burst from the side so the light models the face.
Do I need a flash in my photo to get a flash clip?
No. The burst is described in the prompt and generated in the clip. A reference with one clear light source simply gives it a cleaner direction.
Why does the burst land too early or too late?
Name the beat in the prompt, such as “as the head turns” or “at the peak of the laugh”. Tying the burst to an action is easier to control than a second count.
Does the clip have sound?
Yes. Each clip is vertical 9:16 MP4 with native ambient audio. A click, a hum or a crowd murmur can be described in the prompt.
Can a flash clip show a dress with a slit or an open back?
Yes, as long as the dress is worn fully and the cut is described as clothing. See-through effects and a dress coming off are refused.
How long should a flash clip be?
