Describe the walk, not the outfit

A good outfit still loses on screen if:
- The photo is cropped at the knees: the model cannot see the cut or the shoes.
- Too many statement pieces: pick one hero item and keep the rest quiet.
- Busy patterns on a busy street: the eye has nowhere to rest.
- A fast action the fabric cannot follow: keep the first clip to a walk or a turn.
- A prompt that describes the outfit differently from the photo: describe the night, not new clothes.

Going out outfit questions
Does the outfit stay the same through the clip?
Usually, when the photo is clear and the clip is short. Longer clips give the fabric more time to drift, so test the keeper in Medium first.
Can I change the outfit from the photo?
Describe the change in one line, such as “the same jacket in black leather”. Recoloring redraws the garment, so prints and fine details can change.
What if my photo is a mirror selfie?
It can work if the full look is visible and the face is clear. Reflections and phones in the frame can confuse the outfit, so a plain photo is more reliable.
Which length suits a going out clip?
Five seconds for one moment, ten for a walk, thirty for a full night in motion.
Can I use a friend’s outfit in my photo?
Only with that adult’s consent. Every identifiable adult needs to agree, and celebrities and lookalikes are refused.
