The lift is the smallest stage you will film

A lift is a ready-made set for a short clip. It is closed, lit from above, and the walls do half the work: steel doors, a mirror, a row of glowing buttons. The camera has no room to wander, so every frame has to earn its place.

Start from the mirror. A reflective wall doubles your outfit, your posture and your gaze, and it gives the clip a second angle without a second shot. Name it in your prompt, “a mirrored back wall”, and the model treats the reflection as part of the scene instead of a bright blank.

Then think about the doors. A door that opens or closes slowly gives the clip a natural beginning and end, the way a curtain does on a stage. Keep the movement small: a step, a glance, a hand on the rail. In a box this size, slow reads as confident and fast reads as cramped.

A small box is unforgiving. Watch for these before you render the long cut:

Camera in the mirror: a bright rig or a phone reflected at the back wall. Name the reflection you want, or move the camera to a corner.
Overhead fluorescent light: it turns skin green-grey. Ask for warm light on the face and keep the cool panel behind you.
Wide lens, tight cabin: a wide framing stretches the walls and the outfit. A medium shot keeps the proportions honest.
Crowded buttons: a full control panel reads as clutter in motion. Say “a glowing floor panel behind” and leave it there.
Too much movement: stepping, turning and reaching at once looks rushed. Choose one action per clip.
